We’ve worked with some incredible companies in the UK and Australia to bring coding and creative tech learning to life in their workplaces. It’s a great opportunity to offer childcare to your staff and generate a buzz around the office during the school holidays.
Hosting a Code Camp at your workplace
Code Camp has taught over 200,000 children how to code and create with technology in the UK and Australia over 2-3 days of unbelievable excitement, fun and engagement!
If you are part of an organisation that values its people, community and innovation, we’d love to invite you to host a Code Camp for your employees’ children in the next school holidays.
Code Camp provides digital flyers for distribution to all parents with booking link, we handle all bookings
Public liability insurance, risk assessment and DBS checked staff
A Camp Manager with first aid and child safety training, and professional teaching experience
Teacher to student ratio of 1:8
Our teaching staff are trained in-house with our own lesson plans
A totally fun and unique camp experience where students learn to be creators of technology - not just consumers
Code Camp cap or t-shirt at the end-of-camp high-five ceremony
Their very own game, playable online or via our Code Camp Community app on iOS and Android
Access to Code Camp World - our state of the art coding platform, packed with video tutorials so they can carry on coding at home
Rooms with projectors, bathrooms and ideally a break out / play area (for offices, we understand outdoor space is not always available so ideally parents can sign kids out at lunchtime and enjoy some lunch and fresh air together)
Marketing opportunities e.g. email or internal communications / social network promotion where appropriate
WiFi / an internet connection is needed to all subdomains of codecampworld.com
If a child doesn't have their own laptop, they can rent one for the duration of the camp
Camps are for children aged 7-12 years, with a minimum requirement of 20 children to run a camp
Code Camp normally runs from 9am-3.30pm, with half an hour either side for drop off and pick up. We can change these hours to better suit your organisation’s working day
Children bring their own lunch and snacks with a strict no food sharing policy
At sign up parents are asked for medical information and a medical plan if required
We like to invite parents to the final day ceremony which can also include a family lunch, this is a great opportunity for you and your leaders to tell the children about the company and what type of roles you have
We have an optional superhero dress up day on the last day for added fun!
